In the spring we will explore the towns around Perugia such as Corciano, Assisi – home to St. Francis' Basilica, the medieval hill town of Spello and the Villa Fidelia. The Renaissance city of Siena is also only an hour away and is one of Italy's jewels not to be missed.
    In the fall we will explore Todi whose main square was a location for the movie, The Agony and The Ecstasy, the medieval hill town of Pitigliano, known as "The Little Jerusalem", Deruta with its 500 year-old pottery workshops and the Gothic cathedral of Orvieto.
   If it rains we have access to the fully restored villa of Jacopone di Todi and the Villa Fidelia where, if the sun shines, we can also shoot in their impressive gardens. Remember, some of the most beautiful black and white photographs were taken on overcast days. Every day we will shape our itinerary based on the coming weather.
